Having done several rebuilds and alterations at ACH Classic I consider them to be probably one of …if not the finest Land Rover restorers in the world. Their attention to detail is superb and their paint finish outstanding. They look after my collection in excess of ten vehicles and I could not recommend them more highly.

From the first time we spoke with David we knew we’d made the right decision to entrust him with our 2004 Defender TD5. You only have to visit his workshop to be impressed by David and his teams expertise. His knowledge and advice was invaluable and we immediately trusted his judgement regarding our vehicles refurbishment. Throughout the re-build David was in regular contact with us to provide updates and progress reports.
We knew his team would do a good job but we were genuinely speechless when David unveiled our refurbished Defender. The quality of the finish and the paintwork by Marc is amazing and worth every penny and turns heads whenever we are out and about. People stop and talk to us and remark on how great she looks. We said to David we wanted our Defender to be the best one in our village, well she is quite simply the best Defender in the world.
Having purchased a Defender new in 2014 I had a pretty good idea what I wanted doing to it some 5 years later when it became tired and having through run my ideas with David shortly before Christmas 2018 it wasn’t long before I understood that it had clicked with him straight away.
My profession over the last 32 years has led me to be obsessive about the detail and it was a pleasure to meet someone with a similar ambition to achieve the very best results.
What was equally refreshing is where David may have disagreed with a particular detail or a Client decision – after first carefully listening to my ideas, he would then give me a counter argument and together we would reason. David was always right of course!
With David’s professional manner and stewardship this whole process was made surprisingly pleasurable. David managed the work faultlessly, kept me informed at all times, provided all the updates as promised and in the allotted time frame which I have to say helped me immensely and with his tenacity provided massive reassurance.
If you are thinking of restoring, refurbishing or having extensive work carried-out on that special car then I can highly recommend David and ACHSV, I would be more than happy to go through this whole process again and again with ACHSV.

From start to finish David and the team at ACH have been brilliant! I started off with the plan to do one minor restoration on my Series 3, but after visiting their workshop and seeing the projects they were currently working on it didn’t take long to decide to go all out on the restoration.
The process from start to finish couldn’t have been any easier with regular updates and a couple of visits to talk through different ideas. I couldn’t be any happier with the finished article!
I would recommend ACH to anyone thinking of starting a Land Rover project and am sure I will be back in the near future to start another.
