We built our first Land Rover Defender Classic in 2013 when we decided to blend the styling of the Series Land Rovers with the modern drivetrain and handling offered by the more modern Land Rover Defender. The great thing about a Defender as a base vehicle is how it can almost limitlessly be reimagined without detracting from the core presence of the vehicle.

The beauty of the ACH Defender Classic is that it doesn’t come in set parameters, it is a truly bespoke Land Rover built with your input from start to finish. Long wheelbase or short, soft-top or hard, diesel or V8 petrol, any colour, any upholstery. We provide the basic outline and then the world is your lobster.

Built from the ground up similar to one of our restorations we start with the chassis. Either finished in black underseal or the collectors level gloss chassis. Likewise the underside of the body can be underseal or gloss like the rest of the paintwork.

The drivetrain is overhauled at which point options such as air suspension, larger brakes or uprated drive trains are added. Engines are either rebuilt or replaced by other options.

Finish is the key to any ACH rebuild or restoration and the Defender Classic is no exception. Our paintwork is second to none and will stand up to a concours judge’s scrutiny. Colour choices are limitless and coupled with contrasting details on a Land Rover we make every ACH build sparkle.

Internally the upholstery is the other are that will make your bespoke Land Rover stand out. Hand made in house when ordering and ACH Classic you once again have the opportunity to add your own personality to your Defender. Using the highest quality leather to achieve the highest quality interior creating a true collectors car for the road.
