This Defender came to us direct from the Ministry of Defence. Specified with the TDi engine rather than the TD5 normally found in a 110 of this age, no doubt for use in warmer, more isolated climates where reliability and simplicity was the order of the day.

We have repainted the body in the original white and increased the level of specification to make it a Defender 110 XS. This means we have added:

• Electric windows
• Heated seats
• Remote central locking
• Alloy wheels with new tyres
• Carpeted throughout
• Sound proofed the interior
• Fitted an original Alpine Bluetooth stereo.

Though the chassis on this Land Rover was almost as good as new due to its early life in a hot climate, the underside has been cleaned, treated with anti-rust prevention and then coated to prevent corrosion moving forward. The inside of the chassis has been sprayed with a cavity wax.

This Defender has covered 72,000 miles and the body is in as new condition. The interior is in new half leather XS trim with a dark grey headlining.
